As part of the historical renovation of the Emporium building's facade, dome and rotunda, the new 1.5 million square feet retail and entertainment center consists of 385,000 sqft of retail space for the main anchor tenant Bloomingdale, high-end retail chains and boutiques, a 40,000 sqft food court, a 9 screen Movie Theater and other entertainment attractions. The top floors consist of 235,000 sqft corporate offices. In addition to providing full plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the base building systems, MDS provided same services for a variety of commercial tenants. The project was completed in 2006.
