Nokia Internet Protocol Routing Group | Mountain View, CAThe project, a 120,000 sqft two story office tenant improvements in Mountain View, California, housed the Internet Protocol Routing Group (IPRG) Division of Nokia. The group was called the Plumbers of the Internet. The exterior of the leased building is classical, but inside, all beams, columns, walls and MEP systems are exposed, resembling the inside of the tunnel, creating a cyber looking space for the plumbers. Working with Gensler Architects, MDS provided full HVAC and plumbing engineering services. The layout of the exposed mechanical elements worked synergistically with the architect's vision for the building's feel and look. |
