The latest addition to the Sunnyvale Business Park, 860 W. California St. is a new three story 107,000 sqft office building. The building incorporates high efficiency glazing, a striking LED vertical blade projection and open floor plates. The building was designed for LEED Gold certification using VRF systems and energy recovery ventilators for ventilation. MDS provided full mechanical engineering services for the core and shell mechanical systems and the tenant improvement design for Walmart e-commerce including open offices, conference rooms, recreational areas and a corporate cafeteria. The base building was completed in 2013.
