Vineland Branch Library | San Jose, CA

Vineland Library was the first of 20 branch libraries in the City of San José funded by the local Branch Library Bond measure. The 24,000 square foot facility is based on the City library programming, incorporating retailing concepts such as new book displays and active kids zones. The library creates a strong civic presence in a mostly residential and commercial area.

MDS provided full mechanical, plumbing and energy analysis engineering services. By working with City's engineers, they selected a high efficiency and easily maintainable HVAC system that provides flexibility for the many civic functions and programs.
