The new 26,000 square foot Millbrae library is characterized by light-filled reading and study areas and expansive north windows look out onto old trees. The Library offers state-of-the-art library services. Besides the staff offices and work areas, there are public reading and studying areas, computer training centers, children reading area. The HVAC systems include high efficiency chillers and boilers and VFD driven air handling unit with VAV terminals. Air side economizers and DDC controls add to a robust and energy efficient system. MDS provided full mechanical , plumbing, fire protection and energy analysis design services.
