Oak Park Community Center | Sacramento, CA

The new 10,500 sqft community gymnasium is located adjacent to the Oak Park Community Center in Sacramento. The building includes a main multipurpose space that can be comfortably used by 3-4 people shooting hoops or a room full of 250 people at a presentation or banquet. The mechanical systems incorporate redundant high efficiency single zone VAV packaged units, exposed fabric ductwork and EMS. Coupled with high efficiency glazing, reflective roofing, energy efficient lighting and low flow plumbing fixtures, the building achieved a high degree of sustainability. Completed in 2007, the building is LEED Gold certified.
