Harvest Church | Concord, CA

Harvest Church, a non-denominational family worship center, acquired the "Capri Theater" building in Concord, and embarked on an ambitious renovation and upgrade project. The 36,000 sqft project under construction will house a main lobby, meeting rooms, kitchen, a 1000 person auditorium, classrooms and administrative offices. The HVAC systems include heat recovery outside air HVAC units that allow a 30 % reduction in the required cooling capacity. Coupled with a highly efficient new envelope and glazing, the building achieved a sustainable design. Mechanical Design Studio provided full mechanical, plumbing and energy analysis engineering design services.
